Populate the oceans using aquatic chickens. Not genetically engineered chickens, or anything, but chickens with air snorkels. Over time, they would learn to grow longer necks and to hold their breath a bit longer, and their wings would develop into sub aqua propulsion drivers, ensuring that the harvested chicken meat is in good condition. Over more time, they might become entirely featherless, and in arctic regions, entirely frozen too.

Now now! A fun idea but maybe this site should have a separate section for the wild and wacky and the spoof ideas? Ian

Dumb!

Who? Wimbledonian, you, or the aquatic frozen chicken?

Wasn't this a Jessica Simpson stupid moment? She thought "Chicken of the Sea" tuna was actually chicken.

As wacky as this seems, it is merely a comment on developing a new food source. Animals do not "learn" to grow different anatomies to adapt to their environment. Evolution is a long and arduous process. There are sea-going birds already that might be bred for food, but considering how nasty we are to normal chickens,I shudder to think of how we might develop new species to torture in the same way

Let's use unicorns instead.
