Security lock - addl security | |||||||||||||||||
A security lock may be provided on the power line after the car starter key system between the starter motor. This may be a push & pull switch placed some underneath area of the dash board where it cannot be directly seen, only the driver can be aware of its presence which can be operated as a circuit breaker in addition to the car starter key. For longtime parking at erstwhile places this switch may be used in which case the pilferage may be controlled certain extent. Regards please. Dr V Kumar

The basic concept is worthwhile. I prevented an attempt to steal my car by placing a simple switch in a secret place disguised as a piece of structural equipment inbetween the starter switch and the starter motor. Unfortunately the concept cannot be standardized for production as thieves would quickly get to know where the switch is and what it looks like. Mine worked because it was an individual installation and was not standardized.
