Instead of - or in addition to - recording voice and data into a black box, which could be very hard to find in case of a crash, planes should transmit data by radio to ground receivers, or satellites when crossing oceans. The data will be stored in central servers.

It has been said before, it would require a lot of bandwidth, for all the planes up there.
I believe they are working on it anyhow.
I believe there are only a few thousand commercial planes up in the air over the US at any time. That means the voice transmission from all of those flights would be less than the voice info being transmitted by cellphones in a small American city. As for all other flight data, the bandwidth needed would be less than, say, all the YouTube videos being downloaded into iPhones in New York city.
They do now and will more when ADS-B is adopted. That ground based data is the only way they surmised the inflight-breakup of that Airbus in south america.
