Perhaps their should be something that can be used to store common toiletries (razor, toothbrush, mirror/comb) all in one place, that is wall-mountable also. Who besides me thinks this would be useful?

I take it you do not live in North America, where it common to build such cabinets into home bathrooms, particularly around the sink/basin, or as part of the mirror, where the mirror is on the face of a door to shelves inside. Also typical are attachable accessories for the likes of tooth brushes, soap, and whatnot.
