Believe it or not, this was actually done 70 years ago! It could be fun and maybe even useful. The military has developed cameras that are launched with mortars or hand held rocket launchers. There are also ones designed to be thrown by hand through windows. Those are only for military or police use though. A civilian product would be cool. It might sell well too. It would make a nice Christmas gift.
