Eastern Standard Time is the same as Central Daylight Time, and Mountain Standard Time is the same as Pacific Daylight Time. Make Pacific and Central time zones remain on permanent Daylight Saving Time, and make Mountain and Eastern time zones remain on permanent Standard Time. This will end all need to reset biological and mechanical clocks twice a year, and it will reduce the number of US time zones from four to two.
