I dont know if this was already discused but why not airbags that pop out of the back of the car? i mean that if you hit something while driving the airbags deploy to protect you from injury right, well your going 30 mph and a car pulls out in front of you and you hit it, the airbags deploy, your saved, until another car runs right into you and there is another crash. why not put a stronger air bag on the back of the car so that when the car behind you hits, is does it slower and not as dangerous?

Love it!
Even before airbags were introduced as a standard feature the driver and passengers were relatively safe in a collision as compared to pedestrians hit by a car.
Air-bags all around!
