A television remote control function that would allow you totemporarily flag multiple channels as "interesting" while youscan the dial. You could then return to your list of selectionsto further limit your choices. I.e. instead of just storingtwo selections (current and last) as remotes do now, you wouldbe able to store multiple selections, and also to easily clearyour selections as well.
