seriously ill children need not be traumatized further by the sight of forbidding-looking medical instruments as seen in er's and icu's. I suggest disposable cover-alls for these devices.Why not a "star trek" style ultrasound machine? Instead of a plain looking iv bag, it can be slipped into a sling that resembles the childs favorite fruit juice. Likewise heart monitors, eeg's, ekg's can be easily draped with any one ofseveral designs to make the child's stay if not shorter, at least a bit more fun.
