Crooked dentures | |||||||||||||||||
Dentures are made with perfect, even, shiny white teeth. They look fake because they are so perfect. The idea is to manufacture dentures with small imperfections like small misalignments, discoloration, and possibly even small chips to make them look like real teeth. Hugh R Heinsohn

Crooked Dentures: The idea has been around and in use for years. My mother had dentures made 30some years ago, and her dentist asked her if she wanted them to look a little more realistic. So they were "imperfect".
Dentures need not be "perfect" I am a dentist and when we were students we did the lab work. Ask the dentist to have the lab do a wax up. The compsoite plastic teeth are set inw ax, the patient can try it in for a "try-in". I do this and get patient comments suggestions and approval. But over the years I find that few patients want dark teeth, but to get characterization would cost more, if you are going for the $100 special you get teh $100 special results ...
