3D computers | |||||||||||||||||
3D is a concept that to me is really intriguing, and now that is coming out in abundance, my curiosity on it is running wild. So the idea is that computer screens start being sold with the feature of 3D. This could be turned on and off, similar to how you adjust the screens contrast. The glasses coud have a warranty on them like: If you lose them in the first 30 days, we'll replace them free of charge! After that, you're out of luck. This way people who play games like world of warcraft get a little more out of it. This was just an idea, whether or not it is feasable, I don't know. Leave you feedback.

Hello anonymous , I don't want to be a kill-joy just for the sake of discussion.... if only for the purpose of profit and games maybe.... but I rather play golf or something involve on physical activity kinda exercise , please do not take this the wrong way .... thanx & have a good day.
I'm not totally versed in it, but I think it takes two cameras and a lot of complex software to film something in modern 3D. I don't think you can just '3D' something.
Im not a gamer, but I would love to have 3d on the computer for cad drawing, virtual tours, and I can see the benefits for gaming. I know that computers can do it, because they make 3d goggles, with 2 independant microdisplays which show slightly different images for 3d effect, so the same thing can be put on a screen showing the 2 images in different polarized light( that's how modern 3d glasses work, similar to the old red and blue filters). the only problem is that you need an extremely good graphics processor to create the 2 images, with the relative differences to determine depth.
Butterfly, i did not take that the wrong way, so thank you for your comment.Hrench, i understand what you mean, but like some older 3D movies weren't quite like the 3D they use now, but the old-fashioned red and blue lensed glasses.
