Doggy doorbell | |||||||||||||||||
My dog lets me know that he wants in by scratching the door. That damages the door and only notifies me when I'm very near the door. I want a paw-height panel that wirelessly activates a loudish bell in the house. It would make a quieter sound outside, too, to give feedback to the dog. Maybe the doggy doorbell allows me to record "Good dog!" and plays that back when my dog presses the panel.

Can someone please delete this "invention"?
Unlike half bakery, we don't delete a posting if the product already exists. Perhaps it could be improved upon. A google search suggests that it is sold on TV and is available in the US as well as the UK.
My dog, who would use this site too if she knew how to type, invented the idea of barking to be let in. One bark, then she waits. If I don't come soon, she barks again. Why not?
You would have to spend a while teaching the dog to use this and then you would not want to carry a module around with you all the time. I'm sure a conventional and cheap doorbell could be modified to suit needs like this.
