When I display an Idea, the top left of my screen is basically blank, with a bunch of links over to the left. I have to scroll down to find the idea I wanted to see. I am so dumb that I often sit there for 5 seconds waiting for the screen to update before I realize I have to scroll down. Why not put the Idea and comments at the top, and all links down below.

Excellent suggestion. We'll put it high on our to do list.

Continuing this theme, I noticed returning to the "home" page, my entire screen (on my 800x600 resolution) is filled with only the top link graphics. These graphics are unnecessary, a simple text-only navbar would be preferable, whether it's horizontal or vertical makes no difference.

In general, I think navigating through the site is cumbersome. Seems to me there should be a directory (with links) along one side of the screen. At a minimum, it would be nice to have a link back to the homepage.

The Why Not logo in the top right links back to the home page.
