Missed call while talking | |||||||||||||||||
Here's the scenerio: You're talking on your landline phone. You have caller ID, but not call waiting (because you don't like putting people on hold to get another line). Some else tries to call you, but gets a busy signal. So, when you're done talking, you hang up. How do you know you missed another call? A little voice from your caller ID should come on and say "Hey you, you missed a call while you were gabbing". It could be sassy or polite, whatever you like.

This is a very good idea.
I have a very vague recollection of a system that would ring as soon as you hung up if you had missed a call. It would then play the message the caller had left.
Add an electronic voice saying the calling number (if the caller was too shy to leave a message,) and I think it would do most of what you want. But I can't remember where it was, or when.
My cell phone notifies me of missed calls and their source.
