I think it would help me evaluate response if I had some idea of the track record of the voters/responders.

Are they (like me) "Thumper Rabbits" who never say anything if they can't say something nice? or are they "Trolls" who never say anything if they can't start a fight with someone? Or, are they somewhere in between?

Just a percentage of their voting record -- mine, as of now, would be in the 100% positive ("Pollyanna") range, and I am sure we have a certain number of 100% negative ("Eeyore") types as well.

It kind of complements squid's User's who hated this also hated

Frankly, if they NEVER like ANYTHING, I say you can safely ignore them.

I like this idea. We propose something similar for grade transcripts. Instead of just seeing the grade for each class, you would also get to see the whole grade distribution (as well as the average grade of the students in that course in their other courses). It will take some thought about how to best implement without inducing undo complications, but I'll work on it.

Glad you like it!

It's always a problem giving enough information for the user without turning it into mere data that no one can absorb. Maybe you could just concatenate the rating into the signature block href, like "paron :: 100% positive votes" instead of just "paron".
