U-turn signal | |||||||||||||||||
I'd like to see a second position added to the turn signal arm for signaling a u-turn. Position 1 (standard) would mean a regular turn. Push the stalk a little further up/down to the second position to signal a u-turn. This might cause the turn lights to flash on/off say every 1/2 second. Reason for this is that I have come close to running into someone who I assumed was making a regular turn but then went into a slow, incremental tight u-turn.

Don’t make driving decisions based on if you think someone is making a u turn or not.
Communication systems will always break down (a person may forget to turn on the blinker), so it's best for drivers to drive defensively and not rely on accurate communications.
A U-Turn Signal is now available as an add-on for trucks, trailers, vans, etc.u-turninc.com
Thus far, all the major car manufacturers have looked at the idea and turned it down. But we share your concern!
