For anyone who has a bitch in heat, there is that distinct concern over being impregnated while the owner is distracted, or, if you have dogs (males) also, without using physical separation, there is no way to avoid inpregnation.
The idea is for a mesh belly harness for the male dog, that his little hardware can pass water through the mesh, but cannot get in to a female.
Alternatively for the bitch (female), a coat/harness that keeps a dog from mounting her, perhaps with some stiff plastic flap off her rump for 12 inches over her tail.
Certainly there is hormone treatment, but would not a simple harness save a lotta headaches for dog breeders and owners of in season animals?

I found a manufacturer: http//www.trixie.de It is calleda "Dog Pant de Luxe" for bitches in heat. It is like alycra and elastic diaper with a tail-hole... just the dogcan't pee or poop whilst wearing it... solving those issues would make a better product.
As well a similar chastity belt for human beings who are sent to prison to avoid from getting raped... made of kevlar, might be quite valuable for some folks who do not want to be tortured by prison-rapists.
