We have nationally broadcast award shows for t.v., plays, movies, videos, music and now video games... Why aren't there any national award shows for books?

I'm sure there are enough fanatical book readers and critics out there so the viewing audience would be large enough and it seems like a no brainer for what advertising would be shown....upcoming movies...books.

There could even be multiple book award shows ranging from reader's choice awards to industry type award shows.

Any producers out there?

I have a book or two I would like to nominate... Hey "WHY NOT"?
