This Shrinking World – a website, a book, a kid’s book. Could be the way to lessening the numbers on this planet in a positive way. What would happen if we started going backwards? Starting at one less person per day to a slow trickle, etc. till we’re really lessening at a significant level.

Day one, less pollutionTwo, less need for new highways.Three, fish make a comebackImagine the headlines!Four – it’s like recreating the earthFive – no need for so many hydro dams or diverting water to citiesSix – less healthcare crises…

Then, this could be an interactive game where people remove numbers and see what’s below.

And, there could be the anecdote – what takes us to this place? Womens’ empowerment, education, $$, family planning info, better land-use ideas.

How about a board game to this effect – like “The Game of Real Life” but with a different goal. “Whoops, you’ve been stopped by Jesse Helms, back two spaces“ “People realize that having a shrinking population in Japan is a good thing – move ahead and collect $2m dollars.”
