Structural Shift to Economy

a. Encourage the amendment of a City of Ottawa Act for new taxation powers i.e. Municipal license plate tax, portion of sales tax encourages local procurement

b. Link municipal property taxes to the City’s development objectives

c. Have City explore link and incentives for existing initiatives, e.g. tax credit for one tonne challenge.
