I and my husband have always kept some reference books on disease and health and will continue to stock them in future. These books cover self-help in many emergencies, early signs of medical problems and homeopathy medicine reference.

We also stock simple fever medicine, thermometers, crepe bandages, ice packs, body warmer and a massage machine, apart from a box of homeopathic medicines. We find that a good foot press or hand press for about 20 min helps when the other person is very tired or a little ill.

As a result we seemed to have had to consult doctors less than other families we know, seem to rarely fall ill, and are able to keep up gruelling schedules of work for long periods when required.
