How can we convince different levels of government that an investment in neighbourhood energy reduction is worthwhile? The benefits would exist for many levels of government. For example, national governments are aided in achieving emissions targets. Provincial governments can experience a reduction in demand on their electrical infrastructure. A decrease in energy spending can lead to more available money for both individuals and businesses which can benefit all levels of government.
The issue that I see is how to convince each level of government that the investment is worth it in terms that are meaningful to them.
