My parents can tell you that ever since I was a little boy, I've always had great ideas because my curiosity never stops. My ultimate dream would be to form a non-profit organization that would have ideas like the ones posted on this site, have them reviewed by people in power, and have the people in power contact the people they feel have the best ideas (most important in terms of products that should be on the market that are no-brainers) and pay them to develop these ideas into reality. In fact there should be government positions that have the duty of looking over some of these ideas and placing the best of them into fruition, especially the ones that cost a penny to make but would save millions!!!
When people say I don't have any common sense they are right. I believe this is because my mind is geared differently, using more energy in my creative side than the side that is bound by rules. People like me that have "un-common" sense are left feeling discouraged because their ideas cannot bloom into bigger and better ideas. Instead we feel trapped in a world that just doesn't understand, just doesn't care, and just doesn't even have a clue how much better life can be! But if a technological movement is what we strive, a better life for all, then we must all somehow let democracy speak for itself (with the tool of the internet) and have those in power reward people with creative ideas. Instead, why notter's are taught to not express their ideas for fear of someone else stealing them and using them as their own.
We need to simplify our technological process in order to speed it up. Anyone with a bright idea should be able to send it in to the USPTO (or similar agency in other countries), have it reviewed and if it can be made cheap and reap significant benefits, be contacted back by the USPTO to create it, and have a giant lump-sum check in their name, thanking them for being a part of catapulting the rate of technological advancement to finally be free flowing, instead of hampered by bureaucracy.
