I am home owner and I am always trying to find news ways to recycle and repurpose items that usually go waste. I have been using packing peanuts,plastic grocery bags and cardboard to insulate my basement floor. I am not using these items near any flame/ heat source given they are not fire rated. I am currently working on a basement grey water recycling cistern to collect water from my kitchen sink, bathroom sink and my furnace. Addressing contamination and storage size are the only issues I currently face. We consume large amounts of water through the summer for our vegetable and flower gardens.Well if anyone has any suggestions regarding my current projects, I always welcome a new perspective.
